Welcome to the Islam FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions). The purpose of this site is to provide information about the basic beliefs of Islam and its views on contemporary issues. It was created during the week following the terrorist attacks in New York and Washington. It became clear that the vast majority of people know little or nothing about Islam and there was a need to dispel preconceived notions and myths by stating facts about Islam.
The site was created by Muslim Americans who love America and want people to know the truth about Islam. No opinions or political commentaries are expressed on this site, only the facts.
